Intumescent Steel Fire Protection Products
Pyrotec prosteel PS-AQ will provide fire resistance of up to two hour to structural steelwork. They are supplied as a base coat, which provide fire resistance to the steel, and the color finish coat, which gives protection to the base coat from atmospheric moisture ingress and a colour finish to the BS 4800 or RAL colour of your choice.
PS-AQ are ideal for application by airless spray giving a high quality finish. One spray coat of base coat followed by a topcoat provides the requirement dry film thickness fore most steel section for fire resistance up to 90 minutes. Now available water based.

Steel Section Factor
The Hp/A value is a ratio used to qualify the heating rate of steel in a fire, where ‘Hp’ is the perimeter exposed to the heating effect of the fire and ‘A’ is the cross-sectional area of the steel section.

Identification
Pyrotec prowood transparent inducement coating system for timber and timber type substrates delay ignition and prevents the spread of fire.
Prowood PW- TIBC system for timber is suitable for all types of softwood and hardwood in new and existing structure.
Description
Prowood PW-TIBC System for timber is a nontoxic coating. The base coat is available in clear matt or satin finish.
It is applied by brush or roller to produce a decorative appearance. When dry the coating is odor free.
Hardwood, natural veneers and timber derivatives. For example: plywood, chipboard, hardboard, insulating board. It can be used as new installation to class 0 in accordance with the regulation requirements.
It is suitable for use public building, schools, housing shopping centers, restaurents, banks, churches and for walls and ceiling in escape route where timber or wood derivatives are used.
The products is not suitable for areas, which are exposed to mechanical damage or stress such as doors, furniture, stair treads and hand rails. it is not suitable for outdoor use, or in wet areas

Water Based White Intumescent fire protection Base Coat System for Timber
Identification
Prowood white intumescent Base Coat is a high build intumescent flame retardant emulsion coating. When exposed to heat or fire Prowood PW-WIBC intumesces, expanding to foam a thick insulating cellular carbon layer. This minimizes heat transfer, delays ignition of the substrate and thus prevents the spread of fire.
Application
Prowood PW-WIBC is supplied ready for use; do not thin. Suitable for application by brush, short nap roller or airless spray.
Airless Spray: Tip size 15-17 thou
Pressure: 2000-2500 psi
Do not apply at temperature below 10 oC.
Whilst spread of flame on surfaces painted with prowood PW-WIBC is substantially eliminating during the early stage of A fire, Flames can penetrate and spread in unpainted areas.it is therefore essential to coat surfaces thoroughly, penetrating into crakes, joints or fissures, fill or seal major surface gaps using Pyrotec IM Sealant
Avantages:
· Water based applications for class 0 and class 1 on combustible surfaces.

Solvent Based Transparent Intumescent Fire Protection Top Coat System (in Satin Finish or Matt Finish) for Timber
Identification
Pyrotec Prowood Transparent Intumescent Coating system for timber must be used as a complete system- application of correct base and also topcoat are necessary to ensure efficient fire protection. Water based transparent intumescent top coat are available in Satin Finish or matt finish .top Coat are solvent based
